The Centre embraces several projects, hence establishing partnerships with various institutions in Brazil and other countries.

The project “Literary Cultures of the Global South” (DAAD 2015 - 2018), hosted by the University of Tübingen, Germany, has produced important reflexions which have contributed much to the existence of TRAVESSIA. Besides PPGCOM/UFF, which has been an important partner, this project counts on the cooperation of other relevant institutions from the south axis, such as the Universidade Nacional Autônoma do México (UNAM), the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), in South Africa, the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD), in Senegal and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), in India. Under the name "Futures under Construction", this research, conducted alongside these same partners, has been extended by DAAD in 2019 and 2020.

The research projects underway, “Discomforting Territories: narratives, images and objects of the Global South” (PROBRAL CAPES/DAAD - 2019/2022) and “ Conflict, media and territory in the Global South” (PRINT/CAPES - 2019/2022), count on the important partnership with the Graduate Programme in Anthropology (PPGA/UFF) and with other international institutions.

[LAN] - Media Narratives Research and Experimentation Laboratory (CNPq/UFF), is also one of the Centre’s important partners through the researches conducted by its doctorate, masters and undergraduate students.

We are a space that is constantly open to dialogue and ready to tackle new projects with other institutions and other groups whose interests might coincide with TRAVESSIA’s purposes.
